Every ERP you run.
One set of numbers.
Your companies run on different systems: SAP Business One here, Sage there, a spreadsheet in between. We pull them into one PostgreSQL warehouse and put Apache Superset dashboards on top, so finance, operations and sales finally look at the same figures.
Open source end to end. No per-user licence fees. Your data stays in a database you own.
Month end shouldn't take a spreadsheet army
Most groups we meet have grown by adding companies, and every company came with its own ERP. Each one reports well on itself, but none of them can show you the group.
Four ledgers, four currencies
Someone exports each system, converts the currency by hand and pastes it into a workbook. The group figure arrives late and nobody fully trusts it.
The same product, five codes
Each company names items and customers its own way. Until those are mapped, a sale in one company and a sale in another can't be added up.
Questions wait for IT
"Which customers pay late and still get our best prices?" becomes a report request, not a question you can ask on a Tuesday afternoon.
Enterprise BI, without the licence meter
Apache Superset is the open-source BI platform from the Apache Software Foundation, used in production by large companies around the world. PostgreSQL is the open-source database trusted by banks, governments and start-ups alike. Together they do what you buy a BI suite for, and you keep the money and the data.
No per-user fees
Give the whole management team, every branch manager and your board a login. Adding viewers doesn't add licence cost.
Your data, your database
The warehouse is plain PostgreSQL. Run it on your server or ours. Point Excel, Python or any other tool at it. You're never locked in.
Everyone sees their share
Roles and row-level security mean a branch manager sees their branch, a country MD sees their country, and the CFO sees the group.
Charts and plain SQL
Dozens of chart types, click-to-filter dashboards, scheduled email reports, and SQL Lab for the analyst who wants to ask the database directly.
| Superset + PostgreSQL, run by 2nth | Typical licensed BI suite | |
|---|---|---|
| Software licence | Open source (Apache 2.0, PostgreSQL licence). No fee. | Per user per month, or per capacity |
| Cost as more people use it | Flat. You pay for the server and our service, not for seats. | Rises with every viewer you add |
| Where the data lives | PostgreSQL on your server, in your cloud, or hosted by us | Often in the vendor's cloud |
| Access to the data model | Full SQL access. Documented tables you can query yourself. | Usually through the vendor's own model and tools |
| Leaving | Take the database and the code. Nothing to unlock. | Rebuild reports elsewhere |
From four ERPs to one dashboard
We read from your systems; we never write to them. Every night (or every hour) the data lands in staging, gets cleaned and mapped into one model in rand, and is published for the dashboards.

Rows that can't be mapped aren't dropped. They're set aside with their value, so the dashboard tells you how much of the business you can't see yet and why.
A clean-up you need anyway
Mapping items and customers across systems is the same work an ERP migration needs. Do it once here and the migration starts ahead.
Small to run
The live demo, with four companies and two years of history, runs on one small server. Most mid-sized groups don't need a big data platform.
Mopane Group: a live demo you can click through
A fictitious Southern African supplies group that imports, manufactures and sells to retailers, with three SAP Business One databases and one Sage 300, and no group ERP. Five dashboard tabs show the group as one company.
66% of imports land on time
Against 92% from local suppliers, with a 69-day average lead time from order to receipt.
PVC pipe costs 7% over standard
Over the last six months, while the price list still assumes the old cost.
R7.3m of sales the group can't see
Sold in Zambia and Botswana under item codes nobody has mapped yet.
Start with one question
We don't start with a platform project. We start with the report you rebuild by hand every month, and grow from there.
Connect
Read-only access to one ERP. We show you what's in it, and what's missing, before anything is built.
Model
Your companies, items and customers mapped into one PostgreSQL warehouse, with the rules written down.
Publish
Dashboards for the people who asked, with logins and row-level access set up for each role.
Run
Scheduled loads, monitoring and data-quality alerts, on your infrastructure or hosted by us.
See your own numbers this way
Tell us which systems you run and the question you can't answer today. We'll show you the demo and what it would take to do the same for you.
